HI 88703 is a professional tool for high accuracy, designed for applications in the water quality control, as it provides very accurate and reliable readings even at low levels of turbidity. HI 88703 meets and exceeds the requirements set by USEPA and Standard Methods.
The special optical system ensures accurate results, ensures long-term stability and minimizes interference due to color and scattered light. It is also able to compensate for variations in intensity of the light source, eliminating the need for frequent calibration.
cuvettes are constructed with a special optical glass guarantee the repeatability of measurements.
Turbidity can be measured in the range of 0.00 to 4000 NTU ( Nephelometric Turbidity Units) using ratiometric or in the range of 0.00 to 40.0 NTU with the ratiometric method. The instrument is equipped with a metering mode to comply with the EPA criteria for analysis reports. There are also alternative units (EBC and Nephelos).
Depending on the sample and the accuracy required, you can select the mode of choosing the most appropriate measure of normal, continuous or media. The calibration procedure can be performed with a 2, 3, 4 or 5 points, using the standard supplied (<0.1, 15, 100, 750, and 2000 NTU). You can also manually enter values ​​for standard prepared by the user.
HI 88703 is equipped with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) that allow you to keep track of calibration conditions: time, date and calibration points. HI 88703 is equipped with a graphic display, easy to use, in which the various messages are shown with full text, not with abbreviations. A context-sensitive online help is always available by simply pressing a button. You can also set the Italian language for the interface. Confirmation tones and error messages give additional support to the user during the various operations. There is also an informative mode which guides the operator at all stages of the analysis process.
storage function stores the full results of a complete set of information. You can register and consult at any time up to 200 measurements. For further processing, the data can be downloaded to a PC through the USB port of the instrument.
