HI 981 406 is designed for the control of swimming pool water and for all those applications where it is necessary to simultaneous monitoring of pH and ORP (oxidation-reduction potential).
Instead of using two separate instruments for the measurement of these parameters, one can use the combined HI 981406, which monitors simultaneously two parameters at a fixed location.
HI 981406 also allows you to set two different sets of points respectively for pH and ORP. If the set point for the pH is exceeded, the corresponding LED light will illuminate and alerts the operator of the alarm condition. Similarly happens if the ORP value measured falls below the corresponding point of the set.
HI 981 406 is provided with bar for the reference potential HI 1283, the use of which provides a longer life of the pH electrode.
Electrodes HI 2114P / 2 for pH and HI 3214P / 2 ORP (not included) are ideal for swimming pool water and are particularly resistant filling. These possess a bar to the reference potential which allows the differential measurement of the pH, ie stability of reading and long life of the electrode.
