The first pH existing in the market for the measurement of pH on the plating baths in the presence of strong currents / magnetic fields.
Direct measurement of pH in electroplating baths was considered impossible due to the interference of the electric fields present in the bathrooms themselves. To allow such a measure it was decided to transfer to a portable instrument now used the same technique of professional tools for the process, with Matching Pin. At the Matching-Pin was combined with a protective titanium which acts as a Faraday cage. The combination of the two technologies has enabled the direct measurement with an accuracy of 0.01 pH even in the toughest conditions. The use of titanium, instead of stainless steel, allows the use in any kind of working electroplating, without restrictions.
The electrode is also equipped with temperature sensor and signal amplifier incorporated. The instrument measures -2.00 to 16.00 pH, displaying at the same time the temperature measurement.
Graphical symbols and signs guide the user in performing the various operations,
HI 99131 is also equipped with stability indicator reading and HOLD function, which allows you to set the reading on the display to write it down comfortably.
The pH calibration is automatic with 2 sets of memorized buffers. The battery life is more than 1200 hours, and the percentage of charge remaining is displayed on the instrument power on.
