The HI 98186 meter is a microprocessor-based instrument for dissolved oxygen reading.
has been designed to give greater accuracy in the field or in the laboratory. Thanks to data processing, the measurements (temperature compensated both in salinity) can be expressed as BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand), OUR (Oxygen Uptake Rate) and SOUR (Specific Oxygen Uptake Rate).
This tool includes a meter barometric pressure and the possibility of calibration with user selectable units (mmHg, inHg, atm, mbar, psi, kPa). In the large backlit graphic display can be displayed simultaneously more information including DO measurement, pressure, temperature, time and battery power.
instrument is watertight IP67 also thanks to the inductive charging of the batteries.
